When you live FAR AWAY

from family--you adopt!

Here is our favorite couple in the ward that Brinnley has adopted as Grandma and Grandpa. Mary aka Grand Mary or Grammy was a little shocked when one day Brinnley called her Grandma (and she has called her that ever since.) But now I think she is accepting the idea and plays her role well. And one day Scott aka Grandpa, went up to say the prayer in sacrament meeting and Brinnley pointed at him and yelled excitedly, GRANDPA!

There is something so endearing to me to see my children attatch themselves to friends in the ward and we are so blessed to have Scott and Mary be a part of our family! We love being with them! Camping, ward parties or just hanging out, they are the BEST! And Nikko loves them too! They cut his hair and Mary carries him like a baby when we bring him with us. We call them Nikko's foster parents.
