Hello my Wonderful Family & Friends-
If you are on Facebook, you received an email from me all ready--about the Light the Night Walk with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. My family and I are super excited to participate in this event in honor of our son, Drake. We have started a TEAM, so if you would like to walk with us (and live in the Dallas area) please let me know asap! There is no out of pocket expense to join our team, but we have a team goal of raising $500 so we would need help reaching that goal. The event is Sunday, October 18. Check-in time is 5 and the walk begins at 7. It is 2 miles, done very slowly--like a stroll in the park. There are balloons with lights in them in memory or honor of loved ones and if you raise $100, you will get a balloon and a t-shirt. Best of all, it's for a great purpose, a sentimental one for us, and it is empowering and you leave the event with a super good feeling. PLUS, if you JOIN we can walk together! So fun!
