We had an AWESOME Christmas. We spent Christmas Eve with my Aunt and Uncle who just moved here from Wyoming. Several of my cousins were there and so was Grandma Great--visiting from Folsom. She actually stayed with us for 2 days which was really special! We had a great dinner and a super fun gift exchange. The funniest thing was watching the kids be so confused as to why they were passing all the presents around when they had the one they wante din their hands. The fits were hillarious (mostly because it wasn't my kids!). We finished the night off with T'was the Night Before Christmas and a serach for Rudolph. So fun! When we got home we played some games while the kids were falling asleep and the we.....stockings..... I was joking with Camille on Christrmas Eve that for 2 poor families we sure did get a lot of stuff--thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Kriser, Grandma Great and Grandma and Grandpa Bowers!! Oh and HUGE shout out to Christine (Ashby) for teaching me how to coupon!!! Because 99% of the gifts we got all the kids were from CVS or Walgreens! Which meant little or no cost to us! And trust me, they made out! Remote control cars, makeup, Webkinz, Digital Cameras, Pirate sets (which i spent the most money on--$9.99 at Target) and the list goes on!! And another shout out to my Dad who taught us how to Garage Sale! I returned gifts I had bought from Walmart because I found the same thing at a garage sale for $1! And one last shout out to my Man. His theme this year was Everything Old is new Again--before we were married when Brandon had money, he bought expensive things with lifetime warranties, like a leathermen tool thing, a Moutain Hard Wear fleece for camping and 2 pairs of Smith Sunglasses. They all needed to be repaired for one reason or another so he asked me to send them all in so they could get replaced or repaired. He got a brad new leathermen, they are fixing his fleece (it didnt arrive yet) and the best thing was the sunglasses. For one pair they credited him $95 and the other pair $119. SO we BOTH got new Smith sunglasses! SCORE! And all we paid was shipping! So fun! I LOVE this cheap life stuff!

Sounds like a fun Christmas! We went the cheap way too, and used all the gift cards that had a few dollars here and there on them that we have collected over the years. It was fun to see what we could get for what was on the card! I want you to teach me this couponing stuff! I am all for free things.
